Rocky Mountain States Stand Down for Construction Falls
Focus: Preventing Falls
To underscore the top priority we all have of protecting workers, the OSHA Regional Office serving Region VIII has partnered with the stakeholders featured on this page to host a VOLUNTARY Stand Down for workers from industries with employees that work at heights.

A voluntary Stand Down can be very helpful in focusing all workers in the importance of safe work practices. A kick-off meeting will be webcast to meeting locations across the six states of Region VIII. The Rocky Mountain State Stands Down web page will continue to provide educational materials and links to online resources to assist employers with training for their workforce.

Participants in the Stand Down will receive resources to take back to their job sites to use in safety talks and employee training. The Stand Down Commitment Form will track the training and fall prevention efforts that occur at the job sites during the month of October, 2013.
